ReStore FAQs

What is a Habitat ReStore?

A Habitat ReStore accepts new and used furniture, home décor, building materials, appliances and more from individuals, retailers, businesses and contractors. These good-quality items are sold to the general public at a fraction of retail prices, with all proceeds going to Greenwood Area Habitat for Humanity.

How often does the ReStore get new materials?

Daily! We receive donations every day we are open.

How are items priced at the ReStore?

Brand new items are priced approximately 50% OFF of retail value; other items, depending on condition, are priced between 50% to 90% off retail value.

Can we negotiate prices with the ReStore?

No. Our ReStore does not negotiate prices with customers. We have a color coded mark down system in place. All color tagged items ($2.00 and up) that have been in the store for a full month will go down in price on the 1st of each month. The price will drop each month starting at 25% the first month, dropping 50% the second month and then 75% off the third month! There are always great deals to be found!
